How to install your script
How to Add Your Custom Script to Your Website:
- Log in to the Stay22 Hub at https://hub.stay22.com/login.
- Navigate to the Script Builder and generate your unique script.
- Copy the script and add it to the <header> or <footer> of your website.
For WordPress Users:
If you’re using WordPress, install a plugin like WPCode to easily edit your header or footer. Simply paste your script into the appropriate section and save your changes. See How
For Wix Users:
Before you begin, make sure that:
- Your Wix website is published
- Your domain is connected
- You have your Stay22 script ready
Add the Stay22 script to Wix
- Log in to your Wix account and open your website dashboard.
- Go to Settings.
- Under Development & Integrations, select Custom Code.
- Click + Add Custom Code in the top right corner.
- Paste your Stay22 script into the code box.
- Add a name for your code (for example: Stay22 Script).
- Under Add Code to Pages, select All pages
- This ensures the Stay22 script is active across your entire website, including any future pages you create. If asked, make sure to load on each page your visitor opens.
- Under Place Code in, select: Head
- Click Apply.
- Publish your Wix website to make sure the changes go live.
For Google Tag Manager (GTM) Users:
If you don’t have GTM installed yet, watch this tutorial to set it up.
Already using GTM? Follow these steps to add your Stay22 script:
- Open your Google Tag Manager dashboard
- Click “Add a New Tag”
- Choose “Custom HTML” as the tag type
- Paste your Stay22 script into the Custom HTML box
- Set the Trigger to All Pages (or wherever you want the script to run)
- Save the tag and Publish your changes
Your script is now live and optimizing your links automatically.
FAQ
Where do I install the script on my website?
The script should be placed in the header or footer of your website for it to run properly.
Can I use the script on multiple domains?
Yes! You can generate and manage scripts for multiple domains from the LMA Script Builder. Simply select the domain you want when creating a script.
What happens if I install the script incorrectly?
Nothing will break, but your links won’t be optimized. Double-check your installation, and if needed, our team can guide you through the process.
How to make sure the script is installed on my site?
After you add the script to your site, you can confirm it is installed and running by right clicking on the page. Click Inspect > Console. Look for the "Let Me Allez rainbow" in the Console to confirm you're script is running on your site.
