Welcome to Stay22 Retail
Welcome to Stay22 Retail, the latest expansion of our Nova solution.
This guide explains how Retail works, how to get started, and what you can expect to see in your reporting.
What is Stay22 Retail?
Nova Retail is part of the Nova system.
It detects when a reader shows shopping intent on your page and, after user interaction, redirects them in a new tab to a relevant retail offer.
Nova:
-
Classifies your content (Travel vs Retail)
-
Waits for real user interaction (scroll, click, tap)
-
Redirects high-intent visitors
-
Respects frequency rules (no repeated triggering)
It does not modify your layout or inject product widgets.
Phased Rollout & Early Access
Nova Retail is currently being rolled out in phases. Installing the Stay22 script does not automatically grant access to Retail.
Retail activation depends on:
-
Account eligibility
-
Content signals and purchase intent
-
Traffic volume
-
Geographic inventory availability
Partners are notified once Retail has been activated on their account.
We are continually improving Nova’s retail detection model — refining intent signals, optimizing activation logic, and expanding coverage — to improve performance and relevance over time.
How It Works
Once your Stay22 script is installed:
-
Nova analyzes the page.
-
It determines whether the page shows travel intent or retail intent.
-
It waits for real user interaction (scroll, whitespace click, internal link click).
-
If retail intent is detected, Nova opens a new tab to a relevant retail offer.
That’s it.
No widgets.
No product injections.
No layout changes
You earn commissions on completed purchases generated through these interactions.

Follow our quick setup guide right here.
Important: Retail Only Works Through Nova
Retail is not powered by:
-
Allez Smart links
-
Spark
-
LinkSwap
Retail activates only through Nova, which runs via the Stay22 script.
If the script isn’t installed, Retail cannot work.
What’s the difference between Travel and Retail?
The same Nova technology powers both.
-
Travel: surfaces accommodation and activity offers.
-
Retail: surfaces product and shopping offers.
The detection model determines which type of offer to show based on your content and user behavior — no manual toggling required.
Will this impact my SEO or page performance?
No. The script is lightweight and doesn’t modify your layout or page structure.
All actions happen in the background and only for a small percentage of high-intent readers.
Who is Nova Retail Designed For?
Nova Retail performs best for partners who match our Ideal Partner Profile.
-
U.S.-based traffic preferred
-
25K+ monthly visits
-
Food, lifestyle, parenting, product review, or retail-adjacent content
-
Strong purchase intent
Retail is not designed for:
-
Pure news sites
-
Low-intent traffic
-
Homepage-only setups

How Do I Make Sure Retail Is Enabled?
Installing the Stay22 script does not automatically mean Retail is active.
Retail must be activated at the account level as part of our phased rollout. Partners are notified once Retail is enabled.
You can verify Retail activation directly from your website.
How to Check in the Console
-
Open your website.
-
Right-click → Inspect → go to the Console tab.
-
Refresh the page.
You should see the LetMeAllez (LMA) rainbow banner in the console.
Look for this line:
[LMA] 🛍 Nova Retail: Enabled
If it says Enabled, Retail is active on your account.
If it does not appear or shows otherwise, Retail is not yet enabled.
Can I deactivate Travel if I only want Retail?
No, Travel and Retail work hand in hand. Nova’s AI automatically analyzes your page content to determine whether it’s travel- or retail-focused, then shows the most relevant offers.
Keeping both active lets you capture more earning opportunities across all types of content, maximizing your overall revenue without any extra work.
When will I see results?
Retail does not activate for every visitor. Nova only triggers when:
-
The page shows strong retail purchase intent
-
The visitor is eligible (hasn’t been recently Nova-triggered)
-
Supported inventory is available for that user’s location
-
A real user interaction occurs
Because of this, results depend on:
-
Your traffic volume
-
The percentage of retail-intent content on your site
-
Your audience’s purchasing behavior
If you’ve recently been activated for Retail, allow time for:
-
Traffic to flow
-
Intent signals to accumulate
-
Eligible users to engage
You’ll find your retail data in your Stay22 Partner Hub under the Transactions tab (formerly called "Bookings").
To view just retail data, use the Provider filter and select Retail.
You’ll be able to see:
-
Your total commissions earned
-
What products were purchased
-
Quantity and returns
-
Commission status (Pending, Ready, Paid)
-
Shipping and transaction dates
-
Product names (when available)
Note: Retail data may take up to 48 hours to sync after a sale is completed.
Can I still use other affiliate programs?
Yes. Stay22 Retail works alongside your existing programs and does not replace or conflict with your current affiliate setup.
It simply captures incremental opportunities your content already attracts.
How do I know which offers are being shown?
You’ll see aggregated reporting by category and merchant type in your Hub dashboard.
Individual brand details, and granular data such as clicks are not displayed at this time, but you’ll be able to track transactions and earnings as usual.
Where do the retail offers come from?
Stay22 connects to retailer inventories through our trusted affiliate supply partner — not resellers or aggregators.
This means you’re earning commissions from real retailer programs, powered by verified merchant partnerships within our network.
Brand availability may vary by phase and rollout schedule.
Cookie and attribution for Nova Retail sales
Nova Retail follows standard affiliate attribution rules, with cookie windows that vary by merchant — typically ranging from 24 hours to 60 days.
This means you’ll earn a commission on any eligible purchases made within that window (on desktop, mobile, or app) — not just the product initially suggested.
Example: If a visitor clicks a retail offer for a coffee maker but ends up buying other kitchen accessories within the merchant’s attribution window, you’ll still earn a commission on those purchases.
Can I see details of my retail earnings?
You’ll see a list of retail transactions in your Partner Hub showing your commission amount, status (Pending, Ready, or Paid), and transaction date.
Product-level details like item name or quantity aren’t available yet — but rest assured, all eligible sales are tracked and paid once the retailer confirms the transaction.
This ensures you still get full visibility into your earnings, even as we continue improving reporting depth over time.
Will retail and travel earnings show up together?
Yes. Both Retail and Travel earnings appear in the same Transactions tab in your Stay22 Hub.
You can filter by Provider to view just Retail or Travel.
When is data updated?
Retail data updates daily, but only after a purchase ships.
If an item hasn’t shipped yet, it won’t appear in your dashboard.
Occasionally, shipment confirmations may cause a short reporting delay — but your commissions are still being tracked in the background and will appear once confirmed.
When will I get paid?
Commissions become eligible for payout 90 days after the commission is confirmed, allowing time for returns, validations, and processing.
Retail earnings are automatically included in your regular Stay22 payouts — no extra steps required.
Reporting data is ingested hourly, daily, or weekly depending on the merchant to ensure all cookie windows are captured.
Why might a commission disappear or change?
If a product is returned or canceled, the associated commission is removed.
When specific order details aren’t shared by the retailer, adjustments are applied to the oldest unpaid matching product for consistency.
Will I know exactly what was returned?
Not always. Retailers may not provide item-level return details.
If a return occurs, you’ll see the adjustment reflected in your Retail Transactions Report without a product identifier.
How is commission calculated?
Commissions are based on completed purchases made through Retail offers shown to your visitors.
Rates may vary by merchant and category, and they’re automatically reflected in your Hub earnings.
What is my retail commission share?
Your commission share for Nova Retail follows the same model as Stay22’s travel network — a revenue-share split between Stay22 and the partner.
You’ll earn 30% of the total commission generated from each eligible retail purchase.
How can I track which of my pages trigger Retail?
You can view performance by page in your Hub analytics (Retail as provider) to identify which types of content generate the strongest retail conversions.
Does Nova Retail work in all countries?
Retail is currently available in select countries as part of our phased rollout.

We’re actively expanding our retail network to include more brands and regions over time.
